Bipartisan Federal Aviation Administration Reauthorization Adds Five New Flights At Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

Washington, D.C. – The Capital Access Alliance (CAA), a coalition of transportation and business leaders from Virginia and around the country seeking to make air travel to and from Washington, D.C. more accessible and affordable, celebrated President Biden’s signing of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization bill passed with overwhelming support in Congress, and which includes five new flights at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA).

“Today, air travelers across the country seeking greater and more affordable access to the nation’s seat of power can celebrate the FAA Reauthorization bill is law with President Biden’s signature,” said the Capital Access Alliance. “This bipartisan achievement brought together Republicans and Democrats in both houses of Congress who listened to all the arguments and ultimately recognized that DCA had the ability to safely add more flights. The FAA Reauthorization will directly impact Americans for the better by enhancing consumer choice and affordability in air travel.”
